ALP ASS#1 Final

1. What worked well for you on this assignment:

Well since it was my brothers wedding on saturday I had to shoot in a different location, since I was shooting the president of Swordfish skateboarding and he really wanted to shoot on his loading dock and I found the idea really interesting and quite liked the location, I think between reflector, beauty dish and ambient lighting worked pretty good, and Mr Swordfish was really into it and he brought his inspiration responsible for his company's name.

2. What you would change in your preparation if you had the opportunity to go back and do it again:

Since we did the shot on a day off there weren't any boxes or truck or people passing by on skateboards, some action in the background would have been cool, I would have brought a full gel conversion kit just to be as precise as possible to match the fluorescent lighting. I would have called in advance to get boxes and skateboard so we could have used them for the shoot.

 3. What you would change in your Photographic Approach  if you had the opportunity to go back and do it again:

I would have maybe brought a couple different lens to try ou a couple of different thing and perspective, maybe a wide from down low.

10 items listed:

1- I did use available light for the background

2- I did use the 50 mm lens

3- I shot F13 to get a sharp image

4- I did shoot at a slower shutter speed on a tripod, 1/20th

5- I did have enough available light

6- My strobe was way enough

7- It was fluorescent lighting

8- I used some green and blue lb gels to match the fluorescent

9- I did the white balance in capture one with my grey card.

10- I had all I needed.
